How to read this
- Spot ETF flow is the cleanest public proxy for non-crypto-native demand: it is money that had to go through a broker, not an exchange wallet.
- A creation happens the day after the buying, so flows lag price by a day and are best read as a multi-day trend, not a same-day trigger.
- Outflows during a rally often mean basis unwinds, not bearishness — the ETF is one leg of a trade whose other leg lives in the futures market.
